Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist - Patient Care Division
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the Clinical advancement of nurses in the Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) and the Intermediate Coronary Care (ICCU). Works to ensure that both practice and professional standards are identified and maintained in the delivery of patient care, and that mutually determined patient outcomes are achieved. Promote excellence in patient care, while supporting and facilitating professional growth and development, and upholding standards of professionalism. Works primarily days, Monday through Friday.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Must be masters prepared in a clinical specialty and certification in specialty preferred to ensure that both practice and professional standards are identified and maintained in the delivery of patient care, and that mutually determined patient outcomes are achieved. Promote excellence in patient care, while supporting and facilitating professional growth and development, and upholding standards of professionalism.
