The CMIO will be responsible for directing the design, implementation and operation of Project IntelliCare (inclusive of all clinical information systems) related to physician practice, workflow and communication - with emphasis on optimizing the design of all clinical systems for the betterment of patient outcomes and physician usage. It is projected that 80f time will be spent at the Corporate office working with IT services, while 20f time will be spent making strategic hospital visits and/or working with hospital physician champions. Eligible candidates will have an active physician's license, management experience and recent relevant clinical practice experience and 10 years healthcare related experience. Proficiency with PCs and a knowledge of informatics to be able to understand IT issues and converse intelligently with IT and clinical personnel.
