2010 SUMMER NURSE EXTERNSHIP
***FOR NURSING STUDENTS GRADUATING: SUMMER 2011 or BEFORE***
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to a Primary Nurse or Staff Nurse/Nurse Clinician for performing basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A current nursing student who is entering the final semester of an accredited nursing program (graduating in Winter 2010 or Summer 2011)

Must have successfully passed the medical/surgical clinical component of his/her curriculum
-
Competency in basic clinical skills, to include intake/output, bed-making, patient bathing, etc.
