CLASSIFICATION: Temporary, part-time REPORTING TO: Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs / Academic Dean OVERVIEW: The Test Administrator / Proctor is responsible for the administration of exams and providing specialized testing accommodations for all departments at Labouré College, and is responsible to ensure academic integrity through careful test administration and monitoring. The Test Administrator / Proctor must have unbiased relationships with students to ensure honesty and security of all exams. SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Checks in examinees and verifies identification. Explains the exam process, asks examinee to place all personal belongings at the front of the room, escorts examinee to assigned area, helps the examinee begin the exam, monitors examinee(s) and provides assistance during examination time. • Reports all exam discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner. Communicates with the student's instructor about any issues. • Understands testing procedures for each exam sponsor and adheres to instructor's quality and security measures. • Responsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center. • Works on projects, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Customer service skills are a must. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. Must enjoy working with the public and have a strong initiative to work independently. Must be able to work in a quiet environment, learn detailed procedures, and handle a reasonable amount of stress.
